Link- 8 VHF 
FIXED-MOUNT, DUAL-CHANNEL AIS MARINE RADIO

The Link-8 combines reliable performance with security features for seamless communication on board. The Link-8 has an NMEA 2000 port, a built-in Dual channel AIS receiver with the ability to map points as well as a two- and three-channel monitoring function.

Communicate clearly with this reliable   Class D DSC Approved marine VHF radio  from Lowrance. The device has a four-button handheld microphone, smart rotary controls and keys. The design has been made with the aim of ergonomics for easy installation / use and portability.

High Definition LCD Display
Clear Daylight Indicators on the XL High Definition Black and White Display.
Night mode is optimized, with an inverted black-and-white night mode to reduce light emission and maintain night vision while the device is operating.

Smart controls
A rotary channel selector makes it easy to select a channel quickly, while the large keys provide quick access to all basic functions.
The special Distress button activates direct access to the emergency channel (channel 16) and is included in the VHF front panel.

Class D DSC Approved
The device is Class D DSC compliant for automatic emergency call, including position when connected to a compatible GPS receiver.

Three-channel monitoring function
Scanning between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and another user-configurable priority channel.

 All international channels
Link-6 is designed to support all international channels including the US and Canada.

My Channel Mode
Select your favorite channels for quick and easy access.
Pressing the channel button enters My Channel mode, where you can only move to your favorites using the rotary selector.

Multiple scan modes
Browse all available channels or just your favorite favorites.
In each scan mode, emergency channels can optionally be prioritized to reduce the chance of losing emergency calls or other emergency security messages.

 

Easy support via bracket or Flush-Mount mounting.
The package includes a support arm for installation and easy use and removal of the device from the boat. Flush-Mount installation on the console with front screen access is also supported.
