Description
With the Panoptix Forward sensor you can actually see the seabed, the terrain and the fish swimming around and in front of your boat, in real time, even if you are still. You will have two impressive views: LiveVü Forward and RealVü 3-D Forward.
LIVE FORWARD
Upgrades the overall view with a single ping and gives a live video look as it gives you real-time scan images. You can see the fish approaching or moving away from your boat. You can see small baits and large fish swimming around, even your prey. |
REALVÜ 3-D FORWARD
Upgrades a portion of the 3-D with each ping and takes 1 to 4 seconds to update the entire column. It depicts the seabed and the fish in the water column coming towards the boat. It scans forward and the on-screen history is just a scan. |
See it with your own eyes
Garmin was the first to bring Panoptix sonar imaging to your boat. Panoptix sonar has nothing to do with what you have seen so far in the water. It allows you to see around your boat in real time. You can see the fish in the water column in 3-D. You can even watch your bait fall into the water and watch it pull. You can see the fish swimming in front of or under your boat, even while chasing your bait. But to really appreciate Panoptix, you have to see it. Installation kit1 of stern sonar sensor or trolling motor included.
ΕμπThe front sensor should be placed where it is out of the water and reaches speeds above 32 km / h (20m / hr). If placed below the water surface, speeds above 40 km / h should be avoided. The sensor can generate resistance and spray water at higher speeds. The sensor can also be moved from its base. Place the sensor in a safe place on your boat. The installation should not cause any damage to the boat. If in doubt, consult a professional.
