Description
The Tron 40AIS is fully compliant with the mandatory International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulation (from July 2022) and the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulation, ensuring compliance with the latest EPIRB standards. This EPIRB is not only MED, MER (UK), FCC and IC approved, but also features AIS positioning technology for faster detection during search and rescue operations. Ready for a Return to Service (RLS) via Galileo GNSS, it enhances the reliability of distress signals. The inclusion of an infrared LED light for night vision and assisted SAR devices, along with the availability of a non-floating heating arm, makes the Tron 40AIS a powerful and effective choice for safety at sea.
Jotron programming is required for the JOTRON TRON 60AIS, TRON 40AIS and SA20 Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) to ensure they are properly configured and ready for operational use.
