The IOTA model is a general purpose steering compass suitable for use on yachts of all sizes. With its fully ball bearing gimbal, the IOTA/2 compass is suitable for desk, wall or ceiling mounting.
Deck plates with a practical quick release fastener are available as accessories. This allows the compass to be safely used or stored in different locations. The covers are available with or without B+C compensations (see accessories).
It is recommended to install B+C compensations (accessory) for all compass models.
