The Digital Yacht ZDIGAISNETSP AISnet AIS Receiver is designed to provide ports and maritime offices with a local AIS feed, offering insights into shipping activity, ETAs, and movements. This low-cost AIS receiver comes complete with a network port for easy connection to local computer networks or the internet, enabling the relaying of local signals to services like Marine Traffic. With a USB connection for plug ‘n play compatibility with local computers and included viewing software for Windows, setup is simple and efficient.

The system seamlessly integrates with popular coastal surveillance software such as MaxSea/Time Zero, overlaying AIS information onto charting and radar displays. Additionally, it features a built-in patented ZeroLoss VHF-AIS antenna splitter, allowing existing VHF antennas to be used for AIS reception without additional installations. This simplifies setup, especially in ports and harbors where VHF radio installations are common.

The receiver’s advanced capabilities extend to decoding specialist AIS targets such as ATONs and SARTs, making it suitable for lone worker safety applications around ports using personal MOB AIS alarms. For added security, there’s an option for a version with VPN connectivity for encrypted transmissions, suitable for military applications.

The package includes a universal mains adaptor for regulated 12v supply from 240v/110v AC mains, ensuring compatibility in various regions. For standard AIS base station needs, the AISNet base station is also available.
