Description

The Centaur range of battery chargers have an automatic voltage range selection input covering 90-265 VAC 50/60 Hz input, meaning they can be used anywhere in the world.

Crucially, and unlike other products that claim to have universal input, the Centaur range maintains full power output across the specified price range. Other features include a fully automatic three-stage charging function, which ensures batteries are fully charged every time, and three isolated charging outputs for multi-battery configurations to fit most standard installations.

The range includes 12 V and 24 V models from 16 A to 100 A.

Quality without compromise
Epoxy powder coated aluminum cases with drop shield and stainless steel mounting withstand the rigors of a
adverse environment: heat, humidity and salt air.
Circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance.
Temperature sensors ensure that power components will always operate within specified limits if needed
automatic reduction of output current under extreme environmental conditions.
Universal input voltage range 90-265V AC and also suitable for DC supply (AC-DC and DC-DC operation)
All models will operate with no adjustment required in an input voltage range of 90 to 265 Volts, either
50 Hz or 60 Hz.
Chargers also accept 90-400 V DC power.
Three outputs each capable of providing the full output current
Three isolated outputs for simultaneous charging of 3 batteries
Each output is capable of supplying the full rated current.
Three-stage, temperature-compensated charging
Centaur bulk charges until the output drops to 70% of rated Amps, with a 4 hour timer
it begins After the time period, the charger switches to float rate.
An internal temperature sensor is used to compensate the charging voltage with – 2 mV/ºC (– 1 mV/ºF) per cell.
A DIP switch is available to select optimal charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-acid, Gel or AGM
batteries.
