Specifications:

Installation Location of Side Scan transducer
1. The water flow under the hull must be smooth with minimal air bubbles and turbulence.
2. The transducer must be continuously submerged. 3. The transducer beam must be unobstructed by the keel or drive shaft.
4. Select a location away from interference from power and radiation sources; the lower the noise level, the higher the volume setting that can be used.
5. Select an accessible location within the vessel with sufficient clearance for the height of the stem and tighten the nut.
6. Choose the location with the smallest angle.
Caution:
● Do not install in a direct line to or near water inlets or outlets, or behind transoms, posts, fittings or hull irregularities that could interfere with water flow. Keep away from sources of vibration and isolate from vibration.
● Do not mount the transducer where it could support the boat during towing, launching, or storage to avoid damaging the transducer surface.
