The SIGMA model is a steering and heading compass suitable for use on larger yachts. A typical installation location is the sliding hatch or garage, allowing measurements from the helm. The compass itself can be removed from the base, for example, for safe storage below deck. The base already includes B+C and K compensations. A cover plate without compensation is also available as an accessory. The included shading or aiming pin allows astronomical deviation checks. An aiming attachment is available as an accessory for the SIGMA.
