The Type 2/24 volt short shaft linear drive is one of the most commonly used types of drive for sailboats. Raymarine mechanical linear motors provide powerful thrust, fast hard times and quiet operation. Located below the decks, the linear actuator moves the rudder directly by pushing on the rudder arm or rudder quarter. Suitable for wheeled vessels up to 20,000 kg displacement. Works with ACU-400 and SPX 30.
