What is SATELLITE PTT?
It is any type of communication that uses a satellite as support, which is in Earth orbit and is designed to transmit and receive radio frequency signals.

One-to-many communications
Unlike satellite phones, IC-SAT100M users can
instantly start talking to all transceivers in the same talkgroup with a single push of the transmit (PTT) button.
Global wide area communication
The IC-SAT100 satellite transceiver covers the entire earth, including both poles, and can provide global wide area communication anywhere on the planet.
Waterproof, dustproof and durable body
The IC-SAT100M transceiver provides IP67 sealing (antenna with RF unit) and dust protection, making it ideal for use in harsh outdoor environments.IP55 (mic), IP54 (main unit)
The transceiver also meets MIL-STD 810 C, -D, -E and -F specifications.
The operating temperature range is from –30°C to +60°C.
