IC-SAT100
What is SATELLITE PTT?
It is any type of communication that uses a satellite as support, which is in Earth orbit and is designed to transmit and receive radio frequency signals.
The IC-SAT100 (Push-To-Talk) is a two-way transceiver system using the Iridium® satellite network.
Using the 66 Iridium satellites, the IC-SAT100 provides low-latency and wider communication with the most reliable network coverage.
One-to-many communications
Unlike satellite phones, IC-SAT100 users can immediately start talking to all transceivers in the same talkgroup with a single push of the transmit button (PTT).
Global wide area communication
The IC-SAT100 satellite transceiver covers the entire earth, including both poles, and can provide global wide area communication anywhere on the planet.
Built-in emergency key
The orange button in the photo above can be used for emergency situations.
You can broadcast an emergency call to pre-programmed users by holding down the key.
Waterproof, dustproof and durable body
The IC-SAT100 transceiver provides IP67 waterproofing (1 meter water depth for 30 minutes) and dust protection, making it ideal for use in harsh outdoor environments.
The transceiver also meets MIL-STD 810G specifications. The operating temperature range is from –30°C to +60°C.
Use inside a vehicle or inside a building
With the optional AH-40 antenna, you can use the IC-SAT100 transceiver in the vehicle (mounting it on the roof) or in the building (mounting it in a window).
The IC-SAT100 transceiver is Bluetooth® enabled and enables hands-free operation while driving.
Powerful 1500 mW sound
The 1500 mW sound provided by the internal speaker provides loud and clear communication, even in noisy environments.
Long battery life
The included BP-300 Li-ion battery provides 14.5 hours of operation.

Interface with conventional transceivers and IP phones
With a VE-PG4 RoIP gateway, the IC-SAT100 can interface with IP telephone, IP, LTE, digital* and analog IDAS transceiver.
