The Garmin GMR Fantom 24-inch, 24 W solid-state solid-state radar features MotionScope technology, which uses Doppler to detect and detect moving targets and help you avoid potential collisions. It is fully compatible with Garmin plotters.

High power 40W radar with 3.7 degree beam

You have very close and far range for target detection from 20 feet to 48 nautical miles, even in fog or rain. The horizontal beam of 3.7 degrees gives you a high resolution image and high antenna coverage to set targets at a distance. The result is that this radar gives you a clear, comprehensive view of the coastline, other vessels and the weather ahead, directly to your Garmin plotter. You get consistent goal positions, excellent goal separation and reliable operation. 8-bit true color illustration helps you separate large targets from small ones and improves target separation. Radar data overlaps maps (autopilot or direction sensor recommended). Low energy consumption, immediate activation and no delay for warm-up such as magnetron radar. Rotation speed is set to 24 rpm for reduced power consumption or 48 rpm for fast screen updates.
