Rotating beacon with 2 or 3 or 4 heads
The AL-2000 aeronautical beacons must comply with the requirements of ICAO Annex 14 Volume I paragraph 5.3.3, as well as with FAA L-801 AC150/5345-12C standards and French STNA standards. Depending on their version, they must be powered by 230 Vac or 120 Vac (50/60 Hz). They must be equipped with 2 PAR 64 lamps (1000 W or 500 W). The lamp life must be greater than 4000 hours. They must be with colored filters (green or yellow). All external metal parts must be painted (RAL 1021). Its installation is simple due to three mounting flanges.
Safety: The 2 beacon lamps stop immediately when at least one lamp burns out. Consumption: Electrical box = 150 W + 2 lamps (of 500 W or 1000 W). Colors: Obtained using colored filters (Green—land airports, Yellow for waterways, Green and Yellow for FAA heliport (L-801H). Flash frequency: 26 flashes per minute. Lamp head elevation angle: Adjustable from –5° to +35°. Finish: All external parts are painted with RAL 1021, except for the light protections which are made of stainless steel. Mounting: With three holes located on the three mounting flanges.
